Specifically, the level known as the Ocean Temple. Gautier had a public server hosted known as “Mystic Quest.” Some of the maps had huge resemblance to Jayce’s first version of Dungeon Raiders. The earliest we have on hand of Gautier starting his recreations starting is on April 11th, 2017.
Not only does Gautier mimic the content Jayce creates, but he also makes excuses for why he does it. His level of obsession has been reaching the point where it can be considered stalking, it has annoyed and made many people in and outside The Tavern discord group uncomfortable. More detailed information will be listed below. One example of this behavior is Gautier’s game mode, Crystalscape and its sequel. Plain and simply put- he’s obsessed with Jayce and his content, constantly copying whatever Jayce does soon after, whether it’s hats, game modes, add-ons, builds, etc. Gautier has gone under multiple aliases such as Jace and Thoopje. He was a former friend of Jayce and several people in the Tavern discord group such as DeadFromHeaven, Redconer, Slimebrik, Crankie, AdzDuffRain and many more. Gautier/Gautier00 (7148) is a Blockland content creator and the owner of the Fraternize Arcade & The Saloon discord groups. Regardless of any passive approaches, Gautier simply ignores them, refabricating Jayce’s content as his. He's changed the name back though since somebody commented "where is this midi from?".įor three years, a user named Gautier has been copying and stealing ideas from Jayce behind his back.
He's even done a soundfont replacement of a midi that Jayce made (which was just a midi version of Dookie Dookie Panic), but called it his own track called "A New Beginning". He even asked me to send the soundfonts that I use, and I did actually send a couple over to him, thinking nothing was gonna come from it. What bothers me is the fact that Gautier doing it soon after I started making them. I'm not going to lie, Soundfont Replacements are extremely easy to do and anyone can do it. I have my doubts.Īnother small thing I've made that he has started to copy is my Soundfont Replacements, which is where I just take MIDIs and replace the instruments in them and add some filters. Gautier, when I approached him about it, said that one of the people (AlexK) who helped build his ACD added it in by themselves, not Gautier himself.
